TRACKLESS WELDING CARRIAGE

Trackless welding is a type of welding that does not require any physical tracks or guide rails to be used during the welding process. This technique involves using an automated system to perform the weld, without requiring a human operator to guide the welding torch manually.

At Bug-O Systems, we offer a range of welding carriages that utilize trackless welding technology. These portable welding carriages are designed to make the process of fillet welding easier and more efficient.

BENEFITS OF TRACKLESS WELDING

Using a trackless welding carriage offers numerous advantages over traditional manual welding methods.

  • Increased precision and consistency in the weld
  • High-quality welds that meet strict industry standards
  • Reduced operator fatigue and increased safety during the welding process
  • The ability for operators to focus on other tasks, leading to a more efficient workflow

Stiffener Welder

Weld both sides of a stiffener at the same time, thus doubling production! The Stiffener Welder mechanizes two heavy-duty wire feeders to weld “I”, “T”, and “Angle” stiffeners on one or both sides simultaneously.

The machine can be used for continuous or intermittent welds. It can be used on stiffeners with flange widths ranging from 0 to 12 inches. It can also be used on stiffeners with heights ranging from 3 to 16 inches. The stiffener welder rides on four large caster wheels, making moving the unit easy.

The unit is guided along the stiffener by four wheels. Two arms with rollers and guards hold the welding torches. The arms also move along the joint. They go over tack welds.

A heavy-duty drive unit moves the stiffener welder along the work. The Stiffener Welder is available equipped with either the Lincoln Electric® Flex Feed® 84 or the Miller® S-74 wire feeders.

Uni-bug III

Produce stitch or continuous welds programmable by distance with the Uni-bug III! The UNI-BUG III is compact and can be taken into narrow spaces or around tight corners without needing a track. The machine will mount and run directly on the workpiece. The built-in carrying handle allows for easy mounting and removal at any point along the workpiece

The unit is available in a variety of kits. Each kit is designed to fit on a specific steel profile, such as a flat bar, angle, channel, I-beams, and bulb flats (holland profiles).
