The PCC-1 Pipe Coupon Cutting Machine is used for cutting pipe to a desired length or for beveling the edge of a pipe for weld preparation. This saddle and elbow cutter is designed to be fixed to a worktable. It is bolted to the table through mounting holes located in the legs of the machine. The PCC-1 is ideal for welding schools, union halls or facilities that have a need to cut welding coupons. Welding coupons are critical in welding schools to teach the technical skills needed for welding and cutting. With many processes being taught in schools, SMAW, GMAW/MIG, FACW and Gas Tungsten Arc Gas Welding, students benefit from having a coupon cutter on site. The development of marketable welding skills for students at these institutions through quality training is key.
The PCC-1 machine controls include a Forward/Reverse switch, Speed Control knob and an Arc On/Off Switch. The machine can be used with oxy-fuel or plasma torches. If the machine is set-up for plasma cutting, it will be equipped with a rotary ground, contact relay, and holding clamp for a plasma torch. Oxy-fuel cutting can be done with a 2-hose torch, a quick action manifold is included.

- Plasma model includes a rotary ground and the oxy-fuel version is supplied with a quick action manifold.
