Canonsburg, PA (April 7, 2021) – Bug-O is pleased to welcome Norman Galeana to lead Bug-O’s strategic initiatives in Latin America. Prior to joining Bug-O, Galeana was employed by the Lincoln Electric Company, advancing during his seventeen years to the position of General Manager, Automation Division, Brazil. Lincoln Electric is recognized as a leader in the worldwide welding industry.

After earning a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey Mexico City, México, Galeana soon joined the Lincoln Electric Company as a district sales manager in Mexico City. During his time in Mexico, Galeana held many roles as he advanced to Automation Division & International Accounts Director.
This prepared him for his promotion to Commercial and Marketing Director/Technical Manager, Columbia. During his time in Columbia Galeana created market plans, developed product, and implemented country-specific strategies. The success that Galeana achieved in Columbia led him to be named the General Manager of the Automation Division, Brazil.
