What Is the CB-2 Circle Burner?

At Bug-O Systems, we designed the CB-2 Circle Burner to deliver efficient, single-pass square and beveled hole cutting on vessels and large-diameter pipe using the oxy-fuel process. The CB-2 mounts on a dedicated frame with a manually operated permanent magnet base, allowing secure positioning directly on the work surface. With variable-speed rotation, precise torch positioning, and a built-in rise-and-fall cam, the CB-2 helps operators achieve consistent, accurate cuts while maintaining full control throughout the cutting process.

CB-2 Setup and Operation

• Mount the CB-2 securely using the manually operated permanent magnet base
• Connect standard oxy-fuel hoses at the top of the shaft
• Adjust vertical and horizontal torch positioning for proper alignment
• Set the rise and fall cam based on the required cut geometry
• Use the rotation control to select travel speed and direction
• Preheat the base material, then initiate cutting once proper temperature is reached
• Stop rotation and shut off oxygen flow upon completing the cut
